'Legend mate!' Brave man rescues baby possum stranded on busy road
The moment an adorable baby possum is rescued from a dangerous busy road has been captured on dashcam.
As the vehicle approaches the seemingly stranded baby marsupial, two crows can be seen attacking it.
Upon witnessing the defenceless baby possum, a hero suddenly appears in the vision.
At first he beeps his horn in a bid to scare off the birds who seem to have cornered the baby possum.
Next, the man can be seen leaning down, seemingly checking up on the animal.
Almost immediately the baby possum jumps up onto the man's arms, and then scurries around onto his shoulder.
The man then walks off the busy road and stands beside a tree.
He then patiently waits, while encouraging the possum to climb the tree.
Eventually the baby marsupial scurries up the tree and out of sight.
The vision was uploaded to Facebook, where the heroic rescuer was praised for potentially saving the possum’s life.
“Legend you are mate, I done (sic) the same thing to a baby bird getting attacked by bigger birds on the road. Feel good moments in this crazy world we live in,” one commenter wrote.
“Thank you for your caring actions. U r a wonderful role for all humans!” another wrote.
