'Nailed the exam': Cunning woman reveals cheating strategy

A wily student has figured out a cunning method for cheating on her physics exams, but it has left some social media less than impressed.

The student, believed to be from the UK, posted a photo on Reddit of how she managed to get through an exam – by sticking notes under her fingernails.

“Nailed the exam,” Blood_Reaper posted.

Not all Reddit users were impressed with her method for cheating what is believed to be a first semester physics exam, and some pointed out a key issue with her notes.

Some users have pointed out that one of the formulas for determining distance is incorrect.

"The top ring finger equation is literally "distance = speed + time," except they got it wrong," one user explained.

"You don't write down 'distance = speed + time' unless you're completely lost. Thinking that's reasonable takes an incredible lack of consideration."

Distance is calculated by multiplying speed by time.

For example, if a person walked at a pace of 5km/h and reached their destination in three hours they would have walked 15km (15 = 5 x 3).

But if you add those two numbers you get 8km, which is incorrect.

Another user asked why she couldn't memorise the eight formulas stuck to her nails.

“And just think, the amount of time and effort to painstakingly attach those little bitty cheat-sheets could have gone into actually learning the material,” another one user commented.

It’s not known if she passed the exam.
