WATCH: Scooter rider 'distracted by phone' before crashing head first into truck
A Chinese woman who was reportedly looking at her phone as she rode her scooter has crashed head first into a parked truck.
The incident, which happened on Friday in Xuancheng, in the Anhui Province in eastern China, was captured on CCTV.
The dramatic footage shows the woman driving along straight at first, but she doesn't appear to notice as she starts to veer to the right, straight towards a large stopped truck.
She appears to look up just before she crashes head first into the vehicle, she then swiftly falls to the ground.
Reports on the local Huaihai Television station say she was taken to the hospital with deep cuts on her face and required about 30 stitches.
