Boy knocked unconscious by 'school bullies' days before suicide

Shocking footage has been released showing an eight-year-old boy being knocked unconscious by alleged school bullies just days before he committed suicide.

The boy's mother said Gabriel Taye took his own life in January after he was picked on by other students, reports The Mirror.

CCTV footage from inside the bathroom at his Cincinnati elementary school shows another child throwing Gabriel against the wall hard enough to knock him out.

Gabriel is left motionless on the bathroom floor, while other students step over him and point in the footage, released by officials at Carson Elementary School on Friday.

"She's devastated that her son's second to last day was so painful for him," said lawyer Jennifer Branch, representing Gabriel's mother.

An Ohio coroner has now reopened the investigation into the boy's death.
