Woman crashes car after passenger allegedly tried to strangle her

A man allegedly tried to strangle a woman while she was driving causing her to crash her car into a ute.

The 22-year-old female was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the crash at Stafford, in Brisbane's north, last Sunday, police say.

The 23-year-old passenger will face the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday morning on a string of charges including strangulation, dangerous interference of a motor vehicle causing grievous bodily harm and deprivation of liberty.
