Police investigate after violent brawls break out in Melbourne and Sydney overnight

Four men have been injured during a violent street brawl in Sydney’s inner-west.

NSW Police are investigating what sparked the melee at Strathfield about 12.30am Monday.

Emergency crews were called to The Boulevarde following reports of a brawl.

Burwood and Flemington Local Area Police attended the scene and were told four men had been involved in a fight, that left them all with serious facial injuries.

All of the men were aged in their 20s, they were each treated by NSW paramedics and taken to Concord and Royal Prince Alfred hospitals.

All are in a stable condition.

Meanwhile Victorian police are investigating a brawl, which broke out at a Melbourne McDonald’s restaurant overnight.

Police believe the fight at St Albans McDonald’s was pre-arranged and led to multiple teenagers suffering stab wounds.

The boys, all aged 17, were in a serious but stable condition.

Two suffered cuts to the upper body.
