Miranda Kerr's guard 'stabbed in eye' by intruder at Malibu home
An intruder has been shot "multiple times" outside the home of Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr, with reports her security guard was stabbed in the eye during the violent confrontation.
According to TMZ, Kerr's security guard confronted an intruder who jumped the fence at the Malibu home early on Friday morning.
When the guard tried to detain the intruder, he was reportedly stabbed in the eye. He then shot the intruder "multiple times".
Kerr, who's engaged to billionaire Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel, was not at the property at the time. It's believed she recently moved into the $19 million LA mansion bought by Spiegel in Brentwood.
The intruder and the guard have been airlifted from the Malibu scene.
Both are expected to survive, according to reports.
The 31-year-old bought the Malibu property in 2014 to be close to former husband, and father of her son Flynn, Orlando Bloom.
"Orlando owned a place in Malibu, and he was saying that he wanted to move here. We thought it would be a better lifestyle for Flynn. He could be outside playing year-round, playing in the sand," she told Harper's Bazaar just two months ago.
