Vigilante group catches man 'trying to meet teenagers for sex' at theme park
A vigilante group has snared a man who was reportedly trying to meet 'children' for sex at Peppa Pig World in Hampshire in the UK.
Andrew Sealey was confronted by the group who had posed as three teenagers, including two girls named 'Jilly' and Alice' and a boy named 'James', who he believed he had been texting, The Mirror reports.
The confrontation was part of a sting by a group of 'paedophile hunters' called Not Of Normal Criminal Element.
"I'm here to have a nice day with my wife," Sealey told the group in the video.
She also approached the people filming saying they were there to celebrate their anniversary together.
Sealey repeatedly tells the group, "I'm not a paedophile."
The dramatic confrontation occurred in the car park of the Paultons Park, which is home to Peppa Pig World.
In the footage Sealey, 39, is restrained before security guards intervene.
Sealey appeared in court via video link and the 39-year-old admitted to one count of attempting to meet a child, 'James', following sexual grooming, according to the Daily Echo.
But he denied one count of attempting to meet a child 'Jilly' following sexual grooming.
It is claimed he also admitted to eight counts of attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity.
The court also reportedly heard he knew the 'teenagers' were under the age of consent.
Rob Griffiths, defending, reportedly said: "These are all charges of attempt because these people never existed.
"While he did arrange to meet 'Jilly', he says he was there at Paultons Park with his wife and there wasn't any attempt to meet her."
Sealey has been remanded in custody and is due to be sentenced next month.
