Funny Easter bunny: Koala with an identity crisis stops traffic
The Easter bunny nearly had his delivery cut short this year when he got lost on his chocolate egg delivery route.
Hilarious footage has emerged of a ‘funny little bunny’ hopping across a busy road appearing dazed and confused.
Upon closer observation however it’s clear to see that the ‘funny little bunny’ is in fact a koala suffering an Easter weekend identity crisis.
Social media was sent into meltdown on Saturday, when motorists shared vision of the cuddly and confused little koala.
The footage shows the furry little creature hopping along a busy highway in Queensland stopping traffic in the process.
The witness filming the rare sighting can be heard proclaiming: "Oh, a little hop!"
At one point in the footage a police officer even chases after the bunny-wanna-be, eventually guiding him off the busy roadway and to safety.
Australian creatures great and small are well known for their unique appeal and distinctive personality.
Seeking water, this kangaroo got his head stuck in a watering can and was dubbed the ‘Ned Kelly of South Australia’.
Another Kangaroo named ‘Dave’ flexed his muscles in Queensland and became an international star.
