Little girl shocked by lion's reaction when she blows him a kiss
A golden oldie from the viral vaults has resurfaced in recent days, showing a sweet little girl who blew a kiss to a lion while visiting a zoo.
While the video was filmed in 2012, it has gone viral again - showing the lion's unexpected actions when the kiss isn't well-received.
The large animal sits behind a thick pane of glass, only inches away from the child who stares intently with her palms flat against the window.
The lion appears to be fixated on the child, staring right back at her with its mouth slightly hanging open.
Encouraged by their 'bond', the girl plants a kiss on the window in a touching display of affection.
Immediately the lion tries to swipe his big paw at the girl and starts to ferociously claw the glass where her face is.
The reaction causes the girl to jump in shock, but she bravely stands her ground.
The lightning-fast reaction from the lion served as a strong reminder that care should be taken around wild animals.
