Did a blind prophet predict the rise of Islamic State terrorists?

Mysterious reports have surfaced about a blind prophet who allegedly predicted ISIS's war on the western world.

The same soothsayer has also been credited with predicting the September 11 attacks, the Fukushima nuclear disaster and the Boxing Day Tsunami, among other world-changing events.

Baba Vanga was a Bulgarian born prophetess, originally called Vangelia Pandeva Dimitrova, who built a large following for her Nostradamus like efforts to predict the future.

Lately, as News Corp reports, there has been plenty of chatter in conspiracy circles that her claims of a 'Muslim war' were foreshadowing the rise of the Islamic State terrorist group.

The war was supposed to have begun in 2013.

That would place the hostilities in the midst of World War III, which, according to Vanga, was due to begin in 2010.

It was supposed to have ended last year.

Vanga’s legacy is shrouded in both myth and propaganda. According to her devotees, she was blinded by a fiery tornado when she was young. Her visions began shortly afterwards.

During her lifetime controversies arose which suggested she was on the payroll of the Bulgarian Government. While many important world leaders flocked to hear her prophecies, some have suggested the country’s government bugged her home.

Others have argued she was one of the world's most accurate oracles.

She died in 1996 but, like Nostradamus before her, death is not enough to keep a good clairvoyant down.

“The wolves will be howling in a bush and innocent blood will gush,” she said in one prediction some argue foretold the 9/11 terror attacks. The prophecy also spoke of steel birds and falling American brethren.

She also made claims, which have been linked to the Fukushima nuclear disaster and the Asian Tsunami.

The scariest though is her prediction of the imminent de-population of Europe.

According to Vanga, the continent is due to become devoid of almost all human life by about this time next year. This has been seized upon by some arguing the current movements of IS in the Middle East and North Africa, as well as the hordes of refugees fleeing their brutality, are proof of her Baba Vanga's accuracy.

The armies of Islam are scheduled to win the great Muslim war, whereupon they will found a new empire centred on Rome. An economic golden age will come with the conquest.

And with Vanga's predictions stretching thousands of years into the future we can also expect resurgent Christianity to attempt to re-take Rome with the Americans leading the charge.

Ten years after that communism will return. Fifty years after communism returns, all humanity will turn into robots.

That’s when the really exciting stuff kicks off.

Colonies under the sea will be established, and humans will settle on Mars. Unfortunately, Mars will demand independence from Earth and it looks like we can expect an interplanetary war shortly afterwards.

Signals from outer-space will be detected in Hungary and humans searching the galaxy for alien life will bring a new disease to Earth.

Despite all of this, mankind will endure and we should be set to leave the bounds of the universe somewhere around the year 5000.

Opinion polling will suggest this is a controversial move, which is unfortunate, because the end of the world is due shortly afterwards.
