Neighbours catch hoon teens who smashed car into front of house
A Gold Coast family has had a very lucky escape after two 16-year-old boys smashed into the front of their house in a out-of-control car.
The teens were doing burnouts and came around a roundabout at a fast speed, losing control.
The sheer force of the impact took out a concrete pillar and caused damage to the roof of the house.
Locals were forced to run down the two 16-year-olds after they caused the extensive damage last night.
"We heard them drifting around the roundabout... running up the road," a neighbour told Sunrise.
The two young boys been arrested.
Police will allege they were joyriding when the driver crashed through a fence and into a home at Pacific Pines.
Neighbours chased down the young driver.
He is set to face court next year.
