Elderly couple makes us believe in love again but was it creepy to film them?

A cute moment between an elderly couple at the airport has captured the hearts of the internet.

But it’s also sparked questions as to whether the person who filmed them should have done so in the first place.

The lovely footage of the older man waiting eagerly with a bunch of roses and a chocolate box for his wife has gone viral since it was shared on YouTube.

The video titled ‘Very romantic – the old man waiting for his wife at the airport very emotional’ has been viewed more than ten million times.

Clearly there's a lot of people out there looking for something to make them believe in love again.

Sure, it’s romantic – but it’s also a private moment between two people.

It's assumed they didn't consent to being filmed, we're not sure if they even know it's gone viral.

While this couple has captured hearts, the person who filmed it - Facebook user Chris Perry - has come across as a little bit creepy.

Behind the camera they can be heard shrieking in delight as they watch what is unfolding in front of them.

Perhaps they know how the couple feels to be so in love?

Perhaps they know they’ve just struck a viral goldmine?

Or perhaps it was just simply an autopilot reaction to pull out the phone and start filming in case something special happened.

Today the reddit community was quick to point out that the act was kind of disturbing.

‘Do the people recording even know this dude? Why are they recording this?’ one user said.

‘Absolutely agree, its weird and disrespectful to do that. I would be pissed if someone did that to me, even though it happened in a public place I would not like if someone recorded it and posted it online for everyone to see’.
