Penguin involved in Mexican stand-off with police
Peruvian police won a Mexican stand-off of sorts with a bold penguin that had lost its way in a local street.
The Humboldt penguin was found roaming a suburb in Ancash, northern Peru, and seemed to be more looking for a good time than in distress in a video uploaded to YouTube.
Three police surround the penguin as they try to pick it up, but the bird is initially defiant, looking up and staring the men in the face.
The lost animal is eventually captured and can be seen at the end of the clip happily eating fish after a different night out for all involved.
