‘Your bad parking gave me cancer’: Disgruntled driver leaves elaborate note

A US driver has stumbled upon an elaborate and somewhat hilarious note after an apparent poor parking attempt gave someone “cancer”.

Sarah Bryant discovered the long handwritten note on someone else's windscreen which at first glance seemed to be an emotional tribute to the author’s dead grandparent… not quite.

“I was about 10 years old when my mother said to him, ‘if you ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, you have to stop immediately'", the note stated.

“Tears welled up in his eyes when he realised exactly what was at stake. He quit cold turkey that very day. Three years later he died of lung cancer. We were very close, and his death destroyed me.

“My mother said to me, ‘Please never smoke, don’t put your family through what your grandfather put us through.’ I agreed.”

After three paragraphs the note finally established some context and the brutal punch line was delivered.

“At 18, I have never touched a cigarette, I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because your parking job was so s***ty, it gave me cancer anyway… Jesus f*** please learn how to park.”

Ms Bryant tweeted the photo and it has since been shared 280,000 times.
