Tragic details have been revealed about the death of a pregnant woman in the United Kingdom.

Alina Roberts was found dead inside a parked car in Derbyshire on Feburary 15, she was 22 weeks pregnant.

Her two-year-old son Benjamin was found hugging her body after wriggling free from his car seat.

Police say he had been there for 22 hours.

It’s believed the 33-year-old collapsed after falling ill on her way back from a visit to a petting farm.

Her husband Alex called police when she failed to return home.

Her car was discovered the next day after a desperate police search.

When Benjamin was found he reportedly told his father he was ‘cold and hungry’ after his ‘scary’ night.

In a tragic twist of fate, the 36-year-old had planned to go on the daytrip with his wife and son but got held up at the last minute.

“We had a kiss and a cuddle when they left,” a devastated Alex told the Daily Mail.

The couple had been married for nine months and was looking forward to welcoming their daughter into the world.

“She was a kind, loving and caring person and a very loyal friend,” Alex said.

“She had a very special relationship with Benjamin, which I will always remind him of.”

A website has been created to gather donations for the family.

The coroner is investigating the cause of Alina's death.
