Bikini barista loses cool and calls customer "fat"

A coffee shop owner where baristas work in bikinis has come under fire for calling one of her customers "fat".

Meghan Calavan, the owner of the "sexy sailor coffee shop" Sips Ahoy, posted the cruel comments on the company's Facebook page, the Daily Mail reported.

It is believed the war of words escalated over a negative review left on the coffee shop's Facebook page by a relative or friend of Jesseka Cladek, the unwitting target of Calavan's ire.

Calavan then reportedly went on a number of tirades, taking aim at Cladek's appearance and weight.

She called her "fat" and suggested she should "save world hunger by shooting yourself".

Cladek hit back: "What if I was unstable and actually did kill myself?"

"Words have an impact on people."

Since the incident, the Sips Ahoy Facebook page has been removed, but another page dedicated to having the coffee kiosk shut down has already garnered 4700 followers.

Some posters on the page have threatened Calavan, and even suggested that the kiosk should be burned down.

Calavan is sorry for her part in the affair, and said her staff now fear for their safety as a result of the incident.
