Woman's body found in water by early morning jogger
An early morning jogger has made a grim discovery in Melbourne’s south.
A woman’s body was found by the water on Cole Street at Brighton about 7.20am on Monday, a Victoria Police spokesperson said in a statement.
“A passing jogger located the deceased woman in the water,” the spokesperson said.
“Police are investigating to determine whether the death is suspicious.”
Anyone with information is urged to come forward and speak to the police.
