Have you got Nina's diamond?

Nina's Bunbury is on the search for a lucky dip diamond winner from this year’s Chefs’ Long Table Lunch.

One Nina’s diamond was placed amongst 399 cubic zirconia’s which were purchased for $10 each at the event, resulting in a direct $4000 donation for the charity event.

However Nina’s Bunbury manager Kylie Bates can reveal the lucky owner of the diamond is yet to come forward to get their jewel tested in store.

“We are waiting for it to walk in the front door any minute,” Mrs Bates said.

“The fact is there is still a diamond out there and it could possibly be hiding at the bottom of someone’s handbag.”

This is the first time Nina’s Bunbury has run the event and Mrs Bates said it was a great success.

“It was entertaining to watch, people had their mobile phone flashlights out looking over the canisters and everyone had their own special take on why they thought their one was the diamond,” she said.

“About 200 have been returned and tested so far and the diamond is yet to be claimed.”
