RECIPE: Spicy Mixed Nuts

Beware, these are very moreish and may cause tension over who gets to eat the last one.

RECIPE: SPICY MIXED NUTS

Serves 12 people for a snack or makes four gift jars

1 cup raw unsalted pecans
1 cup raw unsalted almonds
1 cup raw unsalted pistachio nuts
1/2 cup raw unsalted pumpkin seeds
1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp curry powder
1 sprig of rosemary
1/4 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp salt

1 tbsp olive oil

Pre-heat oven to 150C. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl. Toss them well to coat and spread them over two large baking trays.

Cook for 30 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes or so. Allow to cool and then serve.
