Ziggy joins board of Lynas
Rare earths hopeful Lynas Corporation has scored a coup by attracting nuclear physicist and former Telstra boss Ziggy Switkowski to its board as a non-executive director.
Dr Switkowski, who will begin his tenure in February next year, is chairman of the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation and chancellor-elect of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
He also holds non-executive directorships at Suncorp-Metway, Tabcorp Holdings and Oil Search.
Lynas shares were unchanged at $1.475 at 7.20am.
