Rider dies after Two Rocks crash

A 19-year-old motorcyclist has died after crashing with another vehicle in Two Rocks on Friday night.

Police are investigating the crash between an unregistered Yamaha motorbike and a white Toyota Hilux ute at the intersection of Two Rocks Road and Finden St at 8.45pm.

A police spokeswoman said the motorbike was not registered and had no lights.

"The motor cycle was travelling in a southerly direction along Two Rocks Road and the Hilux was turning from Finden Street," police said.

The rider, of Two Rocks, was taken to Joondalup Health Campus and transferred to Royal Perth Hospital for surgery but later died from his injuries.

The Hilux driver, 43, also of Two Rocks, was not hurt. He is helping police with the crash investigation.

Police would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash or either vehicle prior to the crash.
