Accident causing traffic chaos on Mitchell Fwy
An accident is causing traffic chaos on the Mitchell Freeway this afternoon after an incident near Cedric Street.
It is understood an incident occurred southbound near the Cedric Street exit about 4.45pm.
An occupant of a car is believed to have run on to the train tracks.
Train services on the Joondalup line between Leederville and Stirling stations have been cancelled until further notice.
Trains continue to operate between Perth and Leederville and Stirling and Clarkson stations.
Motorists are advised to avoid the freeway and find an alternate route.
Emergency services are at the scene.
