State Emergency Services volunteers responded to 15 calls for help last night as a storm bought large hailstones and rain to Perth's suburbs.
The calls were mainly confined to Kalamunda with the area pelted with the worst of the wild weather.
All calls were for water damage and other minor damage caused by the hail.
Crews were able to work through all the calls yesterday afternoon and evening.
The storm moved in over Perth's northern suburbs about 5.30pm.
Hail up to 1.5cm was reported at Joondalup between 5.30pm and 6pm, according to the Weather Bureau.
Some 26mm of rain fell at Perth Airport between 6pm and 7pm.The Weather Bureau cancelled the severe thunderstorm warning just after 9pm. The risk of severe thunderstorms had passed although storms and showers would continue.
