Teen rushed to hospital from swimming pool

Paramedics have rushed a teenage girl to hospital after she suffered a medical episode at a Sydney pool.

A spokeswoman for NSW Ambulance said the incident was not a drowning or related to the pool.

Paramedics attended Prince Alfred Park Pool in Surry Hills just after 1.30pm on Tuesday and took the girl to St Vincent’s Hospital.

It is understood a school swimming carnival was taking place at the pool at the time of the episode.

The condition of the girl is not yet known.
