Up to 40 people involved in a wild cricket brawl at Merrylands RSL club in western Sydney.

Up to 40 people were involved in a wild brawl during cricket celebrations at a western Sydney RSL club.

At least four people were treated for minor injuries after a fight erupted between patrons watching the India versus Pakistan match for the 2015 Cricket World Cup at the Merrylands RSL Club.

The fracas was caught on a mobile phone camera and posted on Facebook.


In the video, patrons can be seen fighting and throwing various objects, including chairs and glasses, as security guards attempt to break up the brawl.

Emergency services were called to the venue. It is understood four people were taken to Westmead Hospital with minor injuries.

No one has been arrested.

Police will review CCTV video as part of their investigation.
