CCTV shows alleged ram raiders drag ATM down street

Police have released CCTV footage of a ram-raid targeting an ATM in Canberra.

During the early hours of Thursday two men reversed their ute up to a service station and tied rope around the machine.

They then allegedly ripped it from the wall.

Footage shows the men trying for two minutes to lift the ATM on to the ute tray but they quickly gave up and dragged it down the street instead.

Anyone who recognises the men should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
