Two pedestrians have died after being hit by vehicles in Queensland.
Police say that just before 6pm on Friday a car struck a man aged in his eighties on Alexandra Parade at Alexandra Headlands and he died at the scene.
At around 8.40pm a man aged in his thirties was struck by a truck at the Saltwater Creek Bridge on the Bruce Highway at Maryborough and he also died at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating both deaths.
