Truck driver killed in state's south
A truck driver has died after a crash in Tasmania's south overnight.
The truck rolled on Esperance Coast Road, at Police Point, near Dover about 11.30pm.
Police, Workplace Standards and transport inspectors are at the scene and the road is expected to be closed for several hours.
The 42-year-old driver from Midway Point was the sole occupant in the truck which was carting fish.
He died at the scene and police are yet to release his name.
They are calling for witnesses.
The death brings the road toll for the year to 18.
