App for NSW victims of crime

If you're a victim of crime struggling to navigate the NSW justice system, the state government hopes a new app will help.

The NSW government has launched a free mobile app designed to demystify the court process that thousands of people experience each year.

NSW Attorney General Brad Hazzard said the Justice Journey app brings the criminal justice system up to speed with the 21st century.

"This app provides information and guidance for victims from the time of the crime until after the court process has finished," he said on Friday in a statement.

The app contains videos and tips on reporting a crime, police investigation, the court process and support services.
