A driver has had a lucky escape after his car was sandwiched between two trucks at the entrance of the Burnley Tunnel.
The man managed to get out of the vehicle himself and was taken to the Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.
The crash happened at the entrance to the tunnel on the outbound side at around 1.15pm.
Two right hand lanes of the tunnel were closed as emergency services worked to clear the crash site.
