Families banding together for better power prices

FIRST ON 7: With power bills at record highs, Victorian families are banding together to get a better deal.

7News has joined forces with the Sunday Herald Sun and One Big Switch in a campaign to unlock discounted electricity, using the buying power of thousands of Victorian househoulds.

The goal is to sign up 20,000 households across the state, by October 25. One Big Switch will then negotiate a discounted electricity offer on your behalf.

Sick of watching her bills increase, Ruth Bonniface switched to solar power.

“I'm now saving about 200 a quarter.”
