'Drain the swamp': Trump supporters ejected from Sydney University party

Donald Trump supporters at a Sydney University election party were kicked out by security after they unleashed a tirade of derogatory comments about women.

About 500 students, teachers and members of the public attended the event at Manning Bar, hosted by the United States Studies Centre, on Wednesday evening.

Around the time Trump was projected to win the US election, the Republican Candidate's supporters reportedly shouted: "lock her up", "build a wall", "drain the swamp" and "grab her by the p---y", event attendees have claimed.

But tempers really flared when it was announced Trump had defeated Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton in the race to the White House.

It prompted one female punter to hurl a drink into the face of Trump supporters before she swearing at them while she was escorted out of the venue by security.

Simone Fox Kobb, a journalist who had attended the event, tweeted about the crowd’s rowdy behaviour and vulgar language.

"Rowdiest of the bunch have been kicked out, but still chanting as they leave: 'no more leftist bull----! PC is over! Stop crying about it!'," Koob wrote.

The most vulgar chant: "grab her by the p---y", stemmed from an audio recording of Trump claiming his fame gave him the ability to do anything, including grabbing women by the genitals.

The University of Sydney was quick to respond to the unruly revellers and tweeted their code of conduct, saying action was taken against the offenders.

"Some participants removed by security from on-campus election event," the uni said.

"University does not endorse and will not tolerate such behaviour."

A University of Sydney spokesperson told the Mail Online said the event was open to the public and they were not certain the offending people were students.

The spokesperson said that if those responsible for chanting the offensive slogans were students, they would be punished for breaching their code of conduct.

"Any proven breaches would be handled on a case by case basis," she said.

NSW Police told Yahoo7 that they were not called to the event.

Yahoo7 has contacted the university for further comment on the matter.
