Three charged with manslaughter over death of Queensland toddler Mason Lee
Two men and a woman have been charged with manslaughter over the death of one-year-old Mason Lee from Caboolture.
Lee's mother and her ex-boyfriend were among three charged with manslaughter earlier on Saturday.
Police reported that Lee suffered horrific injuries from head to toe.
His body was found at a Caboolture house at around 12.30am on June 11 and investigators believe he may have been dead for some hours before triple-zero calls were made.
A 35-year-old Hazeldean man was arrested and charged yesterday in Brisbane and will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday.
A 27-year-old Caboolture South woman was arrested and charged in Toowoomba yesterday and will appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court also on Saturday.
A 17-year-old Morayfield man was also arrested and charged yesterday and will appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court on Saturday.
Act Insp Fadian said investigators had interviewed up to 40 witnesses as part of their homicide investigation.
“We're trying piece together not only what happened on that night but also in the months leading up to Mason's death," Fadian said.
"We need to know if he was harmed, sick or injured any time this year."
