Massive fire destroys truck in middle of freeway
A truck has become engulfed in flames in the middle of a major freeway in Melbourne during peak hour traffic.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the Monash Freeway in Mulgrave as firefighters deal with the huge semi-trailer blaze.
All inbound lanes have been closed.
Firefighters have been able to get blaze under control.
The fire broke out after 7:30am this morning.
The freeway has been closed off between Blackburn and Springvale road, and is creating major traffic delays.
No one has been injured.
It's unclear what sparked the fire.
