Siblings Ian and April Bailey were found dead inside their Deception Bay home in early 2004 after the home was destroyed by fire.

At the press conference Violet was visibly nervous and shaken while delivering her statement.

"Everyone has told me that April was a lovely woman, big-hearted, had an amazing smile," she said at the press conference.

"I was told that Ian was a kind-hearted man and a lovely brother."

"Anyone, if you have any information, the smallest thing, please come forward," Violet said.

"I would be ever so grateful to finally know that the people who killed my mother and my uncle have been put in prison."

"All because someone thought they had every right to kill them, I have missed out on 11 special years and I will miss out on even more."

Authorities believe that the pair were murdered prior to the fire being started.

Violet was found uninjured and alone outside the home at the scene of the tragedy.

In 2006, the Queensland Government announced a $250,000 reward for information leading to the apprehension and conviction of those responsible for the murders.

Earlier this year, investigators from the Homicide Group in conjunction with Moreton District CIB commenced a review of the cold case.

They announced they would be applying new techniques and technology to evidence located at the scene.

Three triple zero calls were made around the time of the incident.
