Dashcams show multiple angles of terrifying crash between hatchback and semi-trailer

A car accident involving at least two cars and a semi-trailer has been captured on several dashcams, providing multiple angles of the terrifying crash.

The accident, believed to have occurred in Taiwan, shows a silver hatchback driving on the right-hand side of a three-lane highway.

For unknown reasons, the car suddenly turns in front of a semi-trailer travelling in the middle lane.

The impact of the semi-trailer sends the hatchback into a spin.

Dashcam footage from inside the hatchback show the driver’s point of view as the car spins to face the highway’s on-coming traffic.

A woman’s scream can be heard inside the vehicle.

The car ends up flying into the left lane, directly in the path of a third vehicle.

Thrown off balance by the incident, the semi-trailer tilts precariously from one side to the other before crushing the two smaller vehicles.

The video from the hatchback shows the windscreen cracking under the weight of the red semi.

It’s believed no-one was killed in the accident.
