Bollywood actress dies from 'failed liposuction'

Well-known Bollywood actress Aarthi Agarwal has died following ‘failed liposuction surgery.’

The 31-year-old reportedly suffered a heart attack at a private hospital in Atlantic City on Friday.


It’s understood she underwent cosmetic surgery six weeks ago and had been receiving treatment at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Centre after complications from her surgery.

The New-Jersey born actress made her debut in 2001, aged 16, when she stared in Nuvvu Naaku Nachav.

She later became known for roles in Indra, Veede, Bambara Kannaley and Ranam 2.

Agarwal was most popular amoungst 'Tollywood' Telugu language fans but also appeared in many Tamil and Hindi films.

In 2005, the young actress was hospitalised following a reported suicide attempt.
