Service station robbed at knifepoint

Police are hunting another armed bandit who held up a service station overnight.

The man in his thirties robbed a BP service station on Great Eastern Highway, Redcliffe, about 9.45pm.

Described as caucasion and chubby, the man had short brown hair and was wearing a grey, hooded jumper.

He threatened the attendant and ran away after being given cash.

The attendant called 000.

Perth has been hit by a spate of service station robberies.

A man armed with a knife threatened an attendant at a Puma service station on Ocean Reef Road in Pearsall early yesterday morning.

He ran off with cash and was last seen running along Shiraz Boulevard.

That offender was described as in his late twenties to early thirties, fair skinned, about 170 to 175cm tall and with a solid build.

He was wearing a dark coloured hooded jacket and dark trousers.
