Furry, feathered and farmyard friends will march against animal cruelty in tomorrow's annual Million Paws Walk.

Waggy-tailed and wet-nosed dogs of all breeds and sizes will band together with confident felines and possibly a few birds, goats or pigs, for the walk in Karlkurla Bushland Park.

Hosted by the RSPCA Kalgoorlie Auxiliary, this year's event will also encourage appropriate and responsible use of the park after reports of dogs running loose and owners neglecting to pick up after their pets in the park.

President Kellie Vincent said animal cruelty and irresponsible use of the park would be the key issues addressed during the walk.

"Our carers often take in animals that have been previously neglected or abused and it is devastating to think how many animals are yet to be saved or are set to suffer the same fate, " Mrs Vincent said.

"And we would hate to see an amazing walkway like this be banned from animals coming through because it is a great place to walk."

While all pets are welcome to attend, they must be under the control of the owner at all times, whether on a lead or in a cage.

Registrations are $7-$10 and can be made at the venue from 3.30pm, with the walk starting at 4.30pm.
