Devotees strike back on Star Wars Day

In a galaxy not so far, far away, staff at Broome Public Library celebrated international Star Wars Day by dressing up as their favourite characters.

Yoda, Princes Leia, Chewbacca and Darth Vader were on hand to greet customers and bookworms on May 4, the day fans say: "May the fourth be with you."

Staff organised a free activity for youngsters to make their own stormtrooper masks.

Librarian Sally Eaton said Star Wars Day was a great excuse to dress up and have fun.
