More than 200 people gathered in Perth tonight in support of Myuran Sukumaran and Andrew Chan.

A mercy vigil for the Australian Bali Nine pair on death row in Indonesia took place at Wesley Uniting Church.

The convicted drug traffickers are due to face the firing squad in Indonesia this month despite repeated pleas from the Australian government.

Similar vigils were held in capital cities throughout the country.

In Perth, guest speakers included cultural studies professor Suvendrini Perara, Federal MP Melissa Parke and former Federation of Islamic Councils president Ameer Ali.

Performances from Abbe May, Ben Quilty and Matthew Sleeth moved the crowd.
