Prime real estate snapped up by Toolmart
BUNBURY'S former Elders site, which holds a prominent position on the corner of King and Hennessy roads, has been sold.
West Australian investors, associated with tool distributors Toolmart bought the site for $2.2 million.
Elders were a long-time lessee of the 2843sq m site, which has a 700sq m double-storey showroom, workshop and store building.
Toolmart will be relocating to the site from their current premises on Zaknic Place, with that building to be available for lease later this year.
"The price point of the high profile site was highly competitive and has the potential for significant capital gain in the near future," Commercial Realty selling agent Peter Lomax said.
