Couple offers free trip to Hawaii
It sounds too good to be true.
A couple from Alberta, Canada is giving away a free trip to Hawaii to the person they deem to be ‘the most loving.’
Cody and Eva Borek, received the free vacation when they purchased a car. Instead of taking it themselves, they decided to give it to a random person who others deemed to be giving and kind. According to their Facebook page, the Christian couple is looking for a deserving soul “who lives like Christ.”
And the vacation package is quite impressive. The trip includes airfare, a five day stay at a five-star hotel, and breakfast and dinner for the first and last days of the trip.
It’s no surprise that people are lining up for their chance to win the trip. Thousands have posted their nominations on Facebook, accompanied with inspiring testimonies of the deserving people in their life.
After posting his phone number to the Facebook page, Cody is now receiving call-in nominations as well.
"If you seen how many people have called me in tears or messaged me because they are so humbled and honoured they have been nominated it would really touch your heart," wrote Cody in an email to ABC Chicago.
Since Christmas day, the Boreks have received nearly 5000 nominations.
Cody and Eva are accepting the top 10 most nominated persons and plan to draw the winner out of a hat. The couple will choose the winner on January 25, 2015.
