ATM bandit jailed
A man who used a loaded rifle to rob three women, including two in their 80s, during a spree of robberies in Bunbury and Eaton, has been jailed for four years and nine months.
Craig Lawrence Lang, 44, was jailed on Tuesday in the Perth Supreme Court for two armed robberies and one attempted armed robbery on May 17.
The court was told Lang, who was armed with a sawn-off .22 calibre bolt-action rifle, and a co-accused, drove to Parks Centre and approached an 80-year-old woman at an ATM.
Lang showed her the rifle was loaded and demanded she give him $500 but instead he stole $50 that came out of the machine and fled.
