Hawkins dream for local beauties

Three top local models are hoping they might get the chance to snap a selfie with their idol *Jennifer Hawkins *when she comes to *Perth *.

  • Caris Tiivel *, *Fabienne Vanderhaeghen *and *Hannah Collard *will walk in a fashion parade to celebrate the opening of Myer's new *Joondalup * store tomorrow, which will be hosted by the former Miss Universe Australia.

Working with Hawkins is a dream come true for the Chadwick's Perth beauties, who all said they looked up to the long-time Myer ambassador.

"I think she is one of the top Aussie icons," Tiivel told _AAA _.

"I have done a parade with her before and she is so nice - she's a really good role model.

"I might ask her for a photo," the brunette added with a cheeky grin.

Collard said she was excited to meet Hawkins for the first time.

"It's always great when you get to work alongside someone who has been in the industry for such a long time and is so well known," she said.

The three stunners are no strangers to walking in a Myer parade, having appeared in the department store's annual fashion lunch as part of Perth Fashion Festival this year with British hunk *Kris Smith *.

Vanderhaeghen said the retail giant was very loyal to its models and made them feel like part of the family.

"Once you have worked with them for a parade, it's great that they continue to use you in events," she said. "Kris was such a lovely personality so it will be nice to work with the female ambassador now."

Visiting the Joondalup store for the first time yesterday, the trio were impressed by the shiny new space, which is the first to open in *WA *in about 20 years.

"It reminds me a lot of the bigger shopping centres over east," Collard said.

"It's about time Perth got on par with the rest of the country."
