Driver trapped in rolled furniture truck
A 26-year-old woman was airlifted to Perth this morning after the furniture truck she was driving rolled in the Wheatbelt.
The woman had been travelling along Buckingham Road when the truck rolled about 6.10am, near the Northam-York Road intersection, and trapped her inside the cab.
Fire-fighters were able to free the woman and St John Ambulance paramedics treated her at the scene before she was flown to Royal Perth Hospital via the RAC Rescue helicopter.
Main Roads advised York Road is closed in both directions between Buckingham and Goldfields roads.
