Fisherman swamped off Kalbarri
A rescue is underway off Kalbarri after a fisherman was spotted clinging to rocks.
Emergency services received a call about 11.30am from someone on the beach who sighted the man.
They reported seeing a fisherman clinging to rocks after his boat capsized near Lucky Bay.
Another fisherman managed to reach the man in a small boat but had problems getting to shore because of windy weather and heavy swell.
A local Kalbarri rescue group was dispatched and they reached the vessel and are towing the pair back to Lucky Bay.
