A three-and-a-half hour stopover in Kalgoorlie-Boulder will disappear from the Indian Pacific's schedule in 2015, according to operator Great Southern Rail.

A spokeswoman yesterday confirmed the train would no longer stop in the city enroute to the east coast, although it would still stop for about three hours on the westbound route.

The partnership between GSR and Goldrush Tours will disappear on the eastbound route.
