Pensioner murder charge

A Mandurah man has been charged with murder over the death of pensioner Robert Dalliston five years ago.

The 42-year-old was yesterday charged by homicide detectives as part of their ongoing investigation into the death.

Mr Dalliston’s body was found in his home in Mandurah on January 15, 2009 by a family friend.

The charged man is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court today.

A police spokeswoman said the investigation was continuing and major crime squad detectives believed others had information critical to the inquiry.
